Collection: These Ways of Tolerance, Concerns of an Artist

These Ways of Tolerance, is the name of a collection of contemporary jewellery, designed by Amir Hossein Delbari.

Amir Hossein is a pro calligrapher, jeweller and sculptor. In 2016, he made a collection of sculptures with the same name consisting of conceptual human figures, each one affiliates an image of a Way of Tolerance.

As a pure artistic collection, each pieces has its very own story behind. The artist's paraphrase to the whole collection is as follow:

"Each person, regarding his/her origin, society and social position and concept of life, carries his/her own contribution of pain and sorrow, which neither played a role in its formation, nor can change it or even can interpret it in any language. Besides, there are countless personal difficulties and issues."

"Some prefer handfuls of pills to calm down or forget, some jump off a height in public, some shout furiously and crash things, , some run to far away, some prefer to be conciliated and darken they days with their silence and some get used to the pain."

"Another way is tolerance, but anyone chooses his/her own way. While you get tolerant, its shadow confronts everything, being tolerant with non-comprehensible traditions, people that you're not sure that even they understand you ever, your surroundings, what you see, what you hear and what you touch."

"I don't know how you deal with people or your difficulties? Or how you see them and what are your thoughts?"

"I myself have my own image of people and surroundings, that I chose to interpret them in this collection, this is my way of tolerance."
